&lt;p&gt; China is the bet and the proof was inside. as one of the printed board was bearing the name &amp;lt;Tecsun&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In fact this brand also sells the BCL3000-an exact replica of this set, but with AC220V trans inside &amp;amp; Chinese characters on the front - Some versions with English prints, sold also with a free AC-AC 100Vdown trans-Interesting enough&lt;/p&gt;

Russian Federation has Voice of Russia. Maybe that is what you mean? BBC stopped broadcasting shortwave to North America in the early part of the 2000s. It is rare to hear of someone getting there BBC in the USA or Canada. It is possible with the right conditions, but very rare.&lt;/p&gt;
