Best camera for filming metal detecting finds?

This question is answered

Going to be filming my finds of my metal detecting adventures and for my site Big Boys Hobbies Metal detector. What camera goes best outdoors for picture quality and in windy conditions? Really like the cannons but they are $$$. Are they worth it?

  • Canon is known for having well performing image stabilization and having some fine optics (zoom, etc..) that capture excellent detail. Unfortunately, they do not use optical image stabilization in all their camcorders. I think you will appreciate both of these features and that Canon is worth it for you. If you have a memory card to use already, then the Canon HF M400 is a great option. If now, then the HF M40 has some internal memory to use.
