Not sure if anyone hear or clarion 308sdc..but it came with the second hand volkwagen polo i just bought few weeks ago.. So the problem is that whenever I plug in memory card (with music), it displays nothing..its quite miserable...if anyone happens to know whats going on and has a solution..i am begging for your help..:) cheers

Not a lot of info on that - it appears to be an OEM (made by Clarion?) HU for the Japanese market vehicle and possibly has both HD and HDD support and maybe SD card support.
Basic Troubleshooting from other aftermarket HU's - Is the SD card formatted FAT32? Have you removed any pre-installed software on the card (especially with SanDisk cards - use their removal tool)? Are all the files MP3 and only music files on the card?
Dumb question - but try the card both ways in case it is upside down!!!
If that still fails, it might be a defect in the head unit and would have to be repaired or replaced.

I can't seem to find any info on that particular HU anywhere. Are you sure that's the correct model? I doubt it's that old if it has memory card support (when you say memory card do you mean a usb or a SD memory card?).
