A few weeks ago my dad's subwoofers and stereo got stolen from his truck. He had to get a new box, speakers, and stereo. He asked me to help him but I don't know how to do it.
The truck has two amps (Whoever stole the subwoofers and stereo couldn't get the amps). They are the same brand but different models. I think they are kicker zx150.2 and the other is zx750.1
My dad got a used box and used speakers pretty cheap. The speakers he got are kicker cvr12 4 ohms.
What I need help on is how to connect the speakers to the amps. (parallel, series, or series parallel.) Should both speakers be connected to each amp or one speaker per amp?
I've done some research but I don't fully understand how they should be connected.
those subs aren't an ideal match for that amplifier. here's some basics > How to match subwoofers and amplifiers
you will want to connect the two subs in series/parallel to the ZX750.1. looks like this:
