Basically, I'm looking for the a very well rounded sub that is loud and has great SQ at the same time.
No matter which, it will be put in a ported box (just a preference) and will be built by my local audio guy. So any suggestions on that would be cool too. So far i've been looking at Alpine Type-R 12" Dual 4 Rockford Fosgate P3 12" Dual 4 RE Audio SE-X 12" Dual 4 JL Audio W3 13.5" Single 4 Out of these which would you recommend if you we're gearing for an SQL setup?

Hmm... that's a nice list. i'd pick the JL. good ported box performance and sound quality.
I agree with JRo. JL Audio is one of my favorite subwoofer manufacturers and it would work really well for an SQL setup.
Anyone else have a suggestion.
