2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Aftermarket Stereo HELP

This question is not answered

Hi everyone, I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and I am trying to replace the factory radio with an aftermarket one. I bought the dash kit, harness connector and the antenna cable. I connected all the corresponding and it is On but there is no sound. No Data cable on the back just the factory wire hardness male connector. The stock radio without navigation or backup camera just AM, FM, CD and That's it.. As far as I know there is no Amp but I don't know for sure. If someone could please tell me what I'm doing wrong and how I can fix this, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Wire Hardness: Metra IBR-WHCR2 Chrysler/Dodge

Radio: Boss BV9384NV 6.2" Double-Din DVD/CD/MP3 Receiver +Bluetooth +GPS Navigation

Thank You

  • Not saying it is your problem but Boss equipment is pretty much junk. You might need to wire each speaker directly to the headunit.
