The Boston GT-40 amp is almost a perfect match. It will output 55 watts to the Polk speakers and 100 watts to the Infinity Kappa speakers. That should give you an excellent sound.

Running the RCA's and power wires on the same side can cause noise. Also, a bad ground can as well. You may want to check the cables before looking into bad equipment. Let us know how it turns out.
