Need to decide one between Samsung and Toshiba.

    Need to decide one between Samsung and Toshiba.

    Need to decide Samsung LN40A550 and Toshiba 42RV530. Which one should be better?

     Any advice, very appreciated.

    I just bought a LN32A550 for my bedroom.  It's everything the reviewers said and more.  Great HDTV.  The Toshiba  gets average reviews.

    The difference in price is around $100.  For that you get a better looking TV, better picture and a better repair record.  The 550 has a better menue with more controls to tweak the TV and a backlit remote.

    The toshibia for a secondary room TV

     

     

    Just my opinion though.

    Dreaming of a new H/T system...
