I have been to many retail stores like best buy ect. and have yet to see the Samsung 8000 led tv.  Are there any places you may know of that show and or sell this particular model?  I'm from Philadelphia.

I do not know which stores have it on display. You should try contacting Samsung to see if they know of any. You can call them on 800-726-7864 or check out Samsung's web site.

Does anyone know of any stores that have the new 8000 series LED TV's on display in Philadelphia? In any area?

LED TV is a term used by Samsung to describe its line of LCD (liquid crystal display) TVsthat use LED backlighting.

LED-backlit LCD TVs do differ from conventional LCD TVs in some important areas:

1- They can produce a very bright image and deep blacks (doesn't work for Edge-LED

2- With Edge-LED lighting they can be extremely slim.

3- They can offer lower power consumption.

4- They can offer a wider colour gamut, especially when RGB-LED backlighting is used.
