I have a 12" MTX Jackhammer JH5512-04 with an MTX Thunder 342 2 channel amp.  I have it bridged at 340w at 4ohms.  The amp has L and R gain, EQ and Frequency knobs.  I cant find the specs for the amp online anywhere.  Im not sure what the difference between the EQ and Frequency knobs is.  None of the knobs have any kind of range on them either.  Just looking for possible suggestions. Thanks

Found the manual here.

EQ is indeed Bass boost, and Frequency is the HPF or LPF cutoff as stated above.

Hope This Helps!!!

The EQ must be for low pass or high pass. The freq knob is the frequency the output is lowpassed or highpassed at, going to the speakers. If it is strictly a sub amp, it will be low pass only, so just set the frequency where you want it. In that case, the EQ might be bass boost.
