im looking for an amp for a pioneer premier pro champion series. it can handle a lot of power, 1000w rms i beileve. i was told either a 2 channel, or mono would work, but which one would work best? im on a somewhat tight budget, 3-4 hundred. i just want the best bang for my buck. any help is truely appreciated!

You are looking for about 1000W RMS at 2-ohms final then - Alpine MRP-M1000, Kicker ZX750.1, ZX1000.1, etc.

Hope This Helps!!!

Hello min3r and welcome to the Crutchfield forums.

In order to properly select an amplifier, you will need to determine if your subwoofer is single or dual voice coil and  the impedence of the voice coil(s). If you could get back to me with that information, I would gladly recommend an amplifier.
