which one sounds better  the PAC Ipod adapter or JVC KS-PD100 iPod adapter? do they sound like when I am playing a CD :)?or do they sound like plugging the iPod from the front AUX :( ?

My goal is to upgrade the sound quality from my iPod. I am not very satisfied with the sound quality playing from normal AUX ports, I need something better. If you had/are-using any of these products please let me hear your opinions.

Thank you for reading.

Both adapters will offer an improvement over a standard auxiliary input, Because these adapters connect to the dock connector instead of the headphone jack, they get a much cleaner signal and bypass the iPod’s headphone pre-amp.

Both adapters will provide comparable audio quality with the primary difference being the iPod control. The JVC adapter allows you to control and display a compatible iPod on the JVC stereo. With the PAC adapter, you’ll need to display and control the iPod on the iPod itself.

Keep in mind; these adapters are only compatible with certain iPod models. You’ll find the JVC compatibility list below:

The KS-PD100 is compatible with most iPods that have a dock connector, including the following models: iPod with dock connector (software version 2.3), iPod with Click Wheel (software version 3.1), iPod mini (software version 1.4), iPod photo (5th generation - software version 1.2), iPod nano (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation) and iPod classic (80, 120, 160GB).

Note: The KS-PD100 is not compatible with the iPod touch (1st, 2nd generation) or iPhone/iPhone 3G. This iPod interface will also not charge the iPod nano (4th generation) without the Scosche passPORT (142IFWA).

The PAC adapter will have similar compatibility issues.

I hope that helps.

I already knew that, but I was not very sure, since the PAC adapter looks kind of cheap, and I prefer the iPod control, but coming this from you I now can make a decision. Thanks
