Would it be a good idea to change the stock subwoofer in my truck? I mean would another sub sound better than the factory bose sub
A different sub would sound better, but you will most likely need a different enclosure or at least a decent amp for it to perform well.
02 BMW 330Ci, Alpine DVI-9965, Alpine MRA F350 5ch, Alpine MRP T220 + 2x Kicker 6x9 FreeAir, Kicker KX1200.1 + Alpine 12" Type-R, 2-Way Security, Keyless Entry, Remote Start
Wiring info.
It looks like the same amp runs the sub and mains - so you can only disconnect the sub, not the amp - highlight the white text to see what wires to use and individually end-cap the wires so you don't short anything out.
Hope This Helps!!!

Ight so i am thinking about be going with 2 10" subs instead of that one 12 just for the simple fact that they will be under my seat and out of the way. Anyways i was thinking about raising my rear seat 2 inches to gain more space. Anyone heard of doing that?
Definitely not unheard of, but you may have to fabricate some custom brackets so that the back of the seat is secured to the rear wall of the cab.
Alright good point didnt think about that. I've found someone to make me some blocks to bolt it on to hopefully i can find someone to do brackets
alright so we looked at it and it would be point less to even lift it because if u lift it the bars at bottom of seat lift with it also. Im just gonna go with one 10 in the middle of back seat instead of a 12 just trying to decide on either AQ HDC3 10", DD 1510, or FI BL 10".
The stock amp powers all the speakers so you will not want to disconnect it. However, you could unplug the wire going to the subwoofer and that still stop it from working.

And where do i find this wire at? and why do i have to disconnect it?
You don't HAVE to disconnect it, but generally the aftermarket sub will sound much louder, cleaner, and overall better than the factory one, so having both of them playing would worsen the overall sound quality.
Alright where is the wire im looking for?
Easiest thing is just to individually cap off all the wires at the subwoofer itself (or you might be able to unplug it and tape over the connector end.
alright kool. Ive got all my new stuff in truck that one 10 inch fi bl slams really hard for a 10
