All the ones you looked at would be fine.  Pioneer might be worth listening to as well.

JL and Polk are good, but often need more than HU power to sound good - you might listen to them and see what you think, though.

Hope This Helps!!!

Thanks Paul!

Personally, I would probably like the JL's better, but keep in mind the JL's are sealed (and 2-ohms final) and the RF's are ported (and 4-ohms final).

Either sub enclosure would work well with these amps (the JL's will pull more power from the amps, though) (Great price on the JH600).  The RF's could use these amps instead, but for the small price difference, I would go with the mono amps instead.

You will also need a 4-gauge (probably) wiring kit.

Hope This Helps!!!

Are you planning to power the speakers with your headunit low power, or do you have a high power external amp ?

Cool

My picks for the doors ... sensitive, large woofer for bass -

For the rear deck - These are very nice, but not as sensitive as the Infinities. Should be bassy with enough power.

Why not an amp ?

Cool

thanks alot for the help. I will most likely end up getting those two. They were both at the top of my list. I'm also looking to get a sub. Suggestions on a good one? And an amp...

What/how much bass are you looking for? Boomy, punchy, deep, impact, etc. How much room are you prepared to give up? Rough idea of budget?

I'm not sure how big of a sub or what kind of bass I should be looking for.  I listen to a lot of rap/hip-hop.  Space is not a problem.  Also, i would like to power it with an amp. Suggestions please. And advice.

Right now I have Infinity Reference 6032si speakers in the front doors and Pioneer Premier TS-D902P on the back deck.  A Pioneer DEH-2100IB headunit.

Thanks

Well are you looking to set off car alarms from 12 blocks away? Are you looking for something to just round out the lows without overpowering your speakers? Something in between? What kind of budget are you looking at?

Something in between. I definitely don't want something weak but I want something that gets things bumpin for sure.  My budget is good at this point haha.

During our research for the vehicle, we found that there is a bit of a height restriction in the trunk area of 14". This means that you should go with 10" subwoofers. We have a few enclosed subwoofers that would work well. We offer the Rockford Fosgate P2L-210 that would fit, but you would get better performance from something like the JL Audio PowerWedge CS210RG-W1v2-2.

Of course there is always the route of getting the subwoofers and then getting a box that is 14" or less in height or making one that is.  I suggest looking at things like the Kicker Comp VR 10" subwoofer or the Alpine Type R 10" subwoofers.

Anyone have other suggestions?
