I just bought a pair of these speakers for the back of my 2008 Ford explorer. I can hear popping souns from the left rear all the time even when I don.t have my stereo cranked up. I have alpines in the front with an alpine amp and the factory installed stereo with a line output converter. Does anyone else have these issues with Alpine? These cost me 150.00

Hello forcheck and welcome to the Crutchfield forums!

Since you are getting noise at high and low volumes, the speaker is most likely defective. If you ordered the speakers from Crutchfield, please contact our tech support team. The number is located on the back of the invoice. If you don't have that handy, you can call Customer Support at 800-955-9094 to locate your order number.

If you ordered the speakers elsewhere, you will need to contact Alpine at 1-800-ALPINE or the company that sold you the speakers.

Hope that helps and sorry for the bad news.
