Just upgraded my Audi TT with new Alpine equip.

I started with a New Alpine ida-x303 and new Infinity Reference 6022i 2-way front door & rear panel speakers.
We used the Alpine HU to power these 4 speakers and the Planet Audio Amp to push the (3) JL Audio 8" subs in JL Audio Box which sound amazing.

We tested the system out and it wasn't what I thought my new infinity's would sound like, they were noisy, distorted and weren't getting enough power to them, sounded like crap, muffled, i was disappointed.

So I ordered from Crutchfield an Alpine ida-x305, a PXA-H100, and a KTX-H100, then returned the ida-x303 to my local store and in place got a Alpine 300 VPower 4channel Amp for it to push the (4) New Infinity 6022i's.

Hooked it all up and heard a major difference. Now the Infinity's are pumping loud and clear. Not too much tweeter, not too much midrange, with enough bass, its just perfect.

In the Alpine Imprint PXA-H100 it can store 2 Frequency Curves and you can control it via the x305 HU.
My PXA-H100 is in XOVER mode as i do not have separate components yet. Chose the 6022i's 2-way instead.
I took 2 Imprints/Measures, one for the Driver Seat and one in the middle of the front seat both at ear level.
Now I can switch back and forth to hear the difference between curves. Nice feature.

The Alpine ida-x305 recognizes the iPhone3GS instantly. The Alpine ida-x303 has connectivity issues, but, it works eventually.
They both have similar features when scrolling thru your iphone library. 305 display is nicer.

I thought I was going to have to change those 4 Infinity's, but they sound really good and they can handle the power nicely.

Bluetooth was an add-on, which i may get in the future.

Go Alpine!!
