Looking for some help replacing a head unit on a new nissan cube SL.  i have the rockford fosgate audio upgrade w/ steering wheel controls and bluetooth.  i have been looking at the jvc KW-AVX820 receiver and was wondering what kind of wiring harness i would need.  also, i would like to keep my steering wheel audio controls and bluetooth if possible.  i have found mention of a module that would allow me to keep the audio controls but i havent yet found the exact part.

any suggestions would help.

I haven't had any experience with the new Cubes, but if they are anything like the other Nissan Rockford Fosgate factory systems, they are one of the easier factory amp integration installs. If you install an aftermarket HU, you will definitely lose the steering wheel controls, and in all likelyhood, bluetooth. Fortunately, the HU you posted is steering wheel control capable with an add-on unit, and has built in bluetooth.

From what I can tell, you will need this harness and this steering wheel control adapter.

02 BMW 330Ci, Alpine DVI-9965, Alpine MRA F350 5ch, Alpine MRP T220 + 2x Kicker 6x9 FreeAir, Kicker KX1200.1 + Alpine 12" Type-R, 2-Way Security, Keyless Entry, Remote Start

Hey telp,

The wiring harness and steering wheel control interface that Ninja pointed out will work with your vehicle. They will not retain the factory Bluetooth option, but the new JVC has it's own microphone and Bluetooth built-in. The one thing to keep in mind is that the factory subwoofer will not function after you install a new stereo. You may want to look at adding an extrenal subwoofer to keep your bass going.

I hope that helps.
