I just today installed the JVC KD-AHD59/KD-HDR50 in dash reciever.

I just tried to hook up my 1G 8GB iPod Touch and it says "reading" and the says cant play or something. The 1G iPod is supposedly supported. Whats wrong? I updated my iPod to f/w 3.1.1.

Help?

Hello CameronFaust,

I checked out research file and we tested the iPod touch 1st generation with this receiver and found all playback, control, and charging to work properly. I you happened to have purchased either the receiver or the iPod from Crutchfield, give our technical support team a call. They will be able to trouble shoot with you.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Its working now. Sometimes you have to reboot & reconnect the iPod I guess. Can be a pain but... It works! :D
