Hello, I currently have a kenwood kdc-ez700sr and recently purchased a ipod touch 2g.  Anyone know if the kca-ip500 will work with this unit?

It should, CF lists the IP500 as compatible with the iPod Touch 1st/2nd/3rd Generation here (not sure if that's the same as the 2g), and as compatible with the KDC-EZ700SR here.  They do say you will need the Schosche Passport to charge the iPod.
