I can’t get my USB drive or iPhone 3Gs with firmware 3.1 to work with the USB connection when it connected to the TUA-T550HD. Both work fine when I connect directly to the CDA-105. I’ve double checked my connections and it’s all hooked up correctly and I’ve tried different cables to eliminate that too. I’m guessing there is a compatibility issue.
Yep - it's a bit confusing to me, but from the CF HOR, it looks like the USB port only works for iPods and only for the iTunes tagging receivers: iDA-X100, iDA-X100M, and IVA-W505.
Hope This Helps!!!
Anyone else have suggestions?

Thanks TigerHeli, I think you hit it. I could've sworn I saw support for the iPhone, but I guess I was mixing up information. Crap!
So... I also thought the CDA-105 should charge the iPhone, I guess I got that wrong too. Crap x2!
From what I can tell from the HOR tab, it should charge the iPhone.
Apple moved the charging ports from the firewire connectors to the USB pins or vice-versa and a lot of older radios will play but not charge the newer iPods, but I don't see that the CDA-105 has that limitation.
Might want to verify with an advisor on that ....
to charge the iphone you need the kcu-440i ipod interface, or if you are using the fullspeed cable, you'll need the kcx-422tr adaptor
JacobDrop me a line if you have any further questions
Thanks, I have the KCU-440i and it is charging.
