I have a 2003 pontiac bonneville, and i would like to install a reciever in it. Everyone i have look at it or try and hook it up, has no idea how to do it in my car. I have a special wiring harness for it, but wheni tried hooking up a reciever through that it still didn't work. I currently just have an amp and subs hooked up to my other speakers, and it sounds very bad, and i have to use a toggle switch to turn them on and off so it doesn't kill my battery, so it would be really nice to have a reciever so i wouldn't have to do that anymore.
If I read correctly, you already have a wiring harness and receiver, correct?
CF's wiring info is here, but they don't list a harness and recommend running new wires - one may exist - I haven't tried "Outfit My Car".
It looks like you might have to drill out the rivets for the existing radio and you will need a dash kit to install the new one, but those are available.
Doesn't seem EXTREMELY difficult, but let us know if any of the above was unclear.
Hope This Helps!!!

If you order a reciever from Crutchfield, you will get instructions and also you will have 24/7 toll free tech support.
BTW - if you hooked your amp's remote wire up to a switched 12V wire, it woudn't need a switch to keep from killing the battery, but it also wouldn't play with the key off.
