I've been looking for a good, efficient, moderately priced system. I was leaning towards these Kenwoods . Also I liked these Rockfords . I'm not sure what to do. I'm also not sure what amp to get to power either. Anyone want to help? I'm just interested in a quality system for the price with high RMS power. I was going to initially start with the stock deck, and upgrade later on down the road. I didn't want to spend over 500 total. Thanks
Not sure if I am missing something here or not ....
The Rockfords are 150W each, 300W total.
The Kenwoods are 300W each, 600W total.
The Rockfords are $250, so any of these amps would work will with them - I highly recommend the Kicker for $160, and that leave you $90 for a wiring kit that you will also need.
The Kenwoods handle more power and will be louder, but they are $200 each, so that only leaves you with $100 and you need a box, a more powerful amp, and a wiring kit - not going to happen. The MTX JH600 for $170 or the Alpine MRP-M500 are great amps for these, but you will be $100-$150 over budget even if you build your own box.
It's an easier install if you upgrade the HU first, and I would recommend that, but you can do it either way.
Hope This Helps!!!
Anyone else have suggestions?

I misread details on the set of Rockfords. <Mod Edit: Removed price discussion. Please refer to our Code of Conduct and price discussion policy. Thanks.>
We can only discuss CF prices on the forum.
When I said, $150, you would have to do the amp, box and wiring kit for that.
Keep in mind if you buy elsewhere, you miss out on CF's tech support, satisfaction guarantee and often free shipping.
