I don't know much about amps and what not so I'm asking for some help choosing an amp, preferably one made by Kicker. 12" Kicker Comps are rated for 300 watts but we all know they can take more abuse than what they are rated so im looking for an amp thats going to be putting around 400-500 watts to each woofer, I will have three in a ported box in my trunk. Money isnt really an option, i'd rather buy a good amp that wont cut off or break on me.
If you are set on a three sub setup in that price range, I would go with the 8ohm version of the Kicker Comps, not the 4ohm version. If you already have the 4ohm version, you could try running them in parallel at 1.33ohms off a Kicker ZX750.1, but you might run into stability issues, overheating, etc, as Kicker amps are only stable down to 2ohms now. If you could get the 8ohm versions, you could run them in parallel at 2.66ohms off a Kicker ZX1000.1 (or ZX1500.1 if you really want to run more than 300W RMS per sub.)
At 2.66ohms, a ZX1000.1 will give you ~251W RMS (probably closer to 300W in reality) per sub
At 2.66ohms, a ZX1500.1 will give you ~376W RMS (probably closer to 450W in reality) per sub

Another option would be running the 4-ohm subs in parallel off something like a Sundown SAZ-1000D or SAZ-1500D. The 1000D is 1000W at 1-ohm, so it should be about 900W at 1.33-ohms and should be rock-solid stable. The 1500D would probably be around 1300W or 433W per sub.
Hope This Helps!!!
