There has been a good deal of talk recently about NTSC (analog) and ATSC (digital) tuners in TVs. With the upcoming change in 2009 to digital OTA broadcasts, I wanted to see if there were questions or concerns that you had about this change, about buying a new TV, or anything related to this?

Also, what can we do to make all of this easier to understand?

How about a blog in regards to how the change will effect the NTSC TV sets?

Keep in mind most of the OTA digital channels have been up and running for several years. The change to take place in February of next year is the termination of analog broadcast transmitters. But there will be set-top-boxes available that will allow the digital channels to be displayed on your  analog receiver/monitor (60i).

heres one that will not be a problem for me but i know there are going to be thousands of people like this...

ok so the goverment will give you 2 coupons to go to the purchase of 2 boxes...

so what happens to everyone with a motorhome or camper?

and Will you be able to "dasiy chain" the tv to another tv without using another...

example-

if you have an external big atenna on your house (or a central one on an rv) can you run this box inline befor your first tv and continue to use existing wiring from the 1st tv to 2 or more though out the rest of the house?

does that make sense?

It's OK man, I too had to look at the thread...  At first I was trying to remember when I posted in the past few days.  Then I looked at the date and a little [tiny] light bulb went off.

Have you all noticed the extent of the Digital TV comercials on the airwaves recently?
