I purchased a Pioneer DEH-2000MP CD Receiver from you guys. I didn't purchase the wiring harness because I didn't think I had an upgraded factory system. The factory am/fm/cass has 1 long slim rectangular connector for power/acc etc, etc and 1 small square 8 pin connector for the speakers (I assume). The harness that was recommended is 120705510. It is on the way fom you guys. My question is that after looking at the recommended harness online, it has 4 rca connectors. The DEH-2000MP only has 2 places that can receive rca connectors. Where will the other 2 rca connectors go? Did I purchase the correct harness to allow this receiver to work? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
1995 Mustang Convertible with factory am/fm/cass radio (F4ZF-19B132-AD is the model number)
Hey mburt27,
The harness you listed is the correct harness for the Mustang you have. Since your stereo only has one pair of preamp outputs, you will need to split the signal so that all four connectors in the harness are receiving a signal. You can check out some wires that would do the trick here.
I hope that helps.
