xm xpress r loosing audio slightly

have a xm xpress r plug and play . using the scoche aux cable from the dock to the pioneer aux. sounds great.but every now and again , the audio cut out, but briefly. you can hardly notice. buts its there.could i have a bad cable . only had a few months

XM audio will briefly cut out as you lose the satellite signal.

If that is not the problem, the plug connection on AUX inputs is often pretty susceptible to vibration.

Anyone else have suggestions?
