I recently purchased a Peripheral Ipod Adapter for my 2005 Tahoe.  The installation involved splicing wires on the stock stereo which scares me a little.  Anyone have experience in installing one of these in a Tahoe (or similar vehicle that involves splicing the wires?).  Details on how to do this and which wires to splice would be great.  I have installed one of these in my Jeep Cherokee but no splicing was involved.  It works great in my Jeep by the way.

Thanks!

If you purchased it from CF - give their tech support a call and they can walk you through it.

If not, post all the details on the Tahoe (model, stereo level installed) and the model number of the adapter and we can walk you through it.

Splicing isn't too bad, and if you tag the wires before you cut them, you can always splice them back together if you pick the wrong one - but we'll try not to let you do that.

Hope This Helps!!!
