I am looking for a TV for my inlaws.  They are in there 80's and I am just looking for a basic LCD for them.  They are coming off a 27" CRT that just died, so any HDTV will look great to them.  The main key feature would be ease of use.  They have a DVD player, but no other components (Blueray, etc).  They currently subscribe to comcast, but don't have a cable box(and probably wouldn't upgrade to get HDTV), so will probably only watch nonHD channels.  Which of the models above would you recommend.  I am leaning towards either of the Samsung models, because the picture looks sharper to me.  I am also leaning towards a 1080p model just for future compatibility (if they ever decide to get a blueray) since there isn't that much of a cost difference.  Any suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated.

We run pretty much the same setup.

If you are looking at a 32-inch TV and non-HD, I don't think 1080p does much for you and I don't think really anything will disappoint you.

Samsung probably has a little better reputation than Sony at this point.

Hope This Helps!!!
