I just mounted my amp in my trunk of my car today. I have it mounted on the back of a seat, and when the seat is up it has a slight downward slant. the amp is probably at a 25 degree angle downward. Is this bad? Should i remount it some where else?

It the amp has fins on it make sure they are running vertical when the seat is up, or else all the heat would build up in the fins if it was horizontal as it would have nowhere to rise. If it does not have fins I'd make sure it had plenty of air so it wouldn't overheat. If you think it gets enough test it out for a while then reach back there and touch it and if its feeling too hot to you then I would mount it preferably on a floor somewhere out of the way. And if it is a small trunk or one that gets used to carry stuff a lot and theres not much room normally, like mine is usually. I would recommend an amp rack/box with a fan. I don't remember exactly where but there is a tutorial and info about those. I'll have a look real quick and see if I can find that.

Edit: Found it. This is a great site to learn things on. Very technical and, if you can't understand tech talk, it does explain in easier terms too.
