Ok, I was lucky enough to have my work provide me an iphone 3gs and thinking of options to integrate this into my vehicle’s stereo system (2003 Land Rover Discovery w/ nav system).

I’m trying to stay away from a wireless or wired FM transmitter since I heard the sound quality can be “iffy”.

Ideally I would like to be able to connect to an auxiliary input adapter from my iphone dock connector and connect to my receiver. I do have a separate CD changer that I’m wondering if I can tap into that audio line.

Any recommendations or guidance?

Thank you for help. --Clay

Wireless sound quality can be "iffy", wired is actually pretty good.

Your best bet is going to be to replace the head unit preferably with one that directly supports the iPhone 3GS.

There might be an adapter that would work with the stock receiver, but IMHO, it is almost as expensive as the new deck and you don't get the other features and options that the new deck provides.

Hope This Helps!!!
