HI out there!!

Has anyone installed an in dash, rollout (flip) screen DVD player into a Chrysler T&C.  I'm thinking about buying a Jensen 9313 or a 9413 for the mini but while looking at the dash I saw that the shifter seems to be very close (almost in front of)  to the receiver while in certain shift positions.  Will the shifter be in the way of the flip screen when it rolls out.  I do understand that given the safety device (parking swicth) you can not see any DVD playing on the screen while driving, but if the screen rolls out any way for controling the receiver can it hit the shifter?  Thanks.

Hello Mountain Biker.

I loaded the research file for your vehicle and I do not see any issue you would have with installing either of the receivers you mentioned.  The only thing I feel I should mention is the monitor may cover the very bottom of your air vents located above the receiver. The gear shift will not be in the way of the receiver installation.

Hope this helps!

CF will usually mention that in the installation notes on the model page (after you do "Outfit My Car"), but it might be a good idea to call an advisor and ask also.

Hope This Helps!!!

Anyone else have suggestions?

Thanks!! Idea

But I did try the "outfit my car" option and it seems to fit.  Honestly, while driving the other day I noticed that the shiftter, while in drive, is about an inch or so in front of the left side of the factory receiver...
