Recently bought and installed the Kenwood MP342U receiver. Initially I was pleased with the receiver and how it worked with my iPhone. However, after about a week, the receiver and my iPhone would not work together. The receiver begins to read the iPhone contents, but it never finishes. I can't override the receiver by pressing the 'iPod' button either.

I've rebooted my iPhone, and tried again with no luck. I am able to get it working again by pressing the reset button on the front of the receiver, but the downside of that is I loose all of my preset stations and receiver setup.

Is anyone else having issues like this? Are there any work arounds?

I followed up with Kenwood support and they say the iPhone is not supported by this model via the USB connector on the front panel -- only iPods.

This is lame, as I was sold this unit believing that it would work with my iPhone.
