Im looking for a good rear view camera for my truck. I was wondering what camera is good in all weather conditions snow ect. also needs to be good at night. I live in new york and the liscence plate camera that cover up the state is actually illegal. I was wondering if  people had coments on good cameras and bad that I could choose from. the good of course. thanks

The license plate ones on here actually got some really negative reviews lately.

A lot of the newer ones are wireless, which could really simplify the installation.

I don't know which ones are good and bad, though.

Anyone else have suggestions?

Hey fastj,

You might want to take a look at the Boyo VTL Series license plate camera. It’s been rated well by our customers, and it is thin enough that it will not cover up the state name. This camera should also do well in low-light.

I hope that helps.

Not sure if the VTL would cover up the state portion of the license plate or not.  Actually, the VTL got two 5 star reviews (and no others), but the VTL400 by the same company got largely negative reviews - FWIW ....

Hope This Helps!!!
