I am upgrading the TV in my bedroom to a small HD.  At the same time I want to add a TiVo HD but hide it under the dresser.  Can someone please recommend a solution that will receive an IR signal near the TV and then emit the signal at the hidden TiVo?  Thanks.

Yes, there are a few solutions for what you are describing.  If you want something fairly inexpensive, I would reccomend the powermid system from X-10. Another alternative would be to get a RF universal remote.  If you have a lot of remotes, this is a good way to go.  It works via radio frequencies, and will send signals through walls, and cabinets.  I hope that helps.
