Amp is 550W at 2-ohms, so get the 1242, dual 4-ohm sub and wire in series parallel to produce a 2-ohm load.  (You did mean 12-inch, not 21-inch, right?)

Here's the picture

To get a 2 ohm load, the voice coils would need to be wired in parallel. If they are wired in series, you have have an 8 ohm load. Also, the amp is a mono amp and it has two sets of terminals to make wiring up multiple speakers a little easier.

The terminals on this amp are wired in parallel internally so you could wire up two speakers, one to each pair of terminals, and it would be like wiring them both together to a single set.

Here's some more horrible artwork on my part.

I meant parallel.  (I'm starting to worry myself).
