Good afternoon everyone. I just wanted to say This site has been extremely helpful in troubleshooting my noise issues.

I am running an Eclipse 5415 HU with 4 polk DB651 2 ways powered with a crunch powerzone p1400.4 amp.

After running speaker wire to front doors had some awful noise. It sounded kinda like a siren going weee wooo wee wooo, this with the engine off and key in acc position. Upon startup of my 2000 corolla had awfully loud clicking and alternator whine. Now it is almost gone and hardly noticeable after a few clicks of the volume knob. I believe it was radiating  into the patch cables behind the HU, as I pulled it out it reduced or stopped. now with rerouting significantly reduced but still bugging me.Could not have achieved this without technical articles on crutchfield and info posted in the forums. I will now be referring this site to all I know, Thanks! will let you know how I fair with totally eliminating my noise. Brian.

I hadn't seen any posts from you on the noise issue, but you might want to try the noise troubleshooter here.

If you are pretty sure it is the RCA's, a ground loop isolator is likely the fix.

HTH.
