Hi all, The RF speaker in this 7.1 HTIB set is on its way out and I am looking to replace at least the L&R fronts in the next two months. Should I replace the Center as well? The surrounds are working pretty well, so I don't think I want to replace all 8 speakers at this time. I'd love to...

I was looking to upgraded and add the two sides and two rear speakers. So my question is what should I be looking for in these types of speakers? I have a Sony STR-DG720 if that helps.

Andrew, You sound like you are doing what I just finished doing...upgrading your overall surround sound system. I am not a tech guy, but my daughter and her friends think I am because I study every detail. I just purchased the Onkyo TX-SR 706, which is very similar to the 607. I too had an old Sony surround...

My dad was an audiofile. Before he recently passed, he gave my two brothers and me what he had. The part I ended up with was a Marantz SR4002 7.1 channel AVR, Denon DP 37F, Pioneer MJ-17D Elite Mini Disk, Teac 3300S reel to reel, Sony digital Tap Deck DTC-75ES, a BK Power Amplifier that has nothing on...

Yeah the receiver for the S9100THX is pretty similar to the 806. I was having a tough time deciding because I wondered if I could get a set of 7.1 speakers for around $400-$500 that would use the power output of the 806? Any recommendations? My only requirement is that they be black to keep everything...

I'm at a standstill trying to determine the best 7.1 receiver that has at least one additional sound zone capability for a price point of around $1,000. My hunt so far has pointed me towards (3) potential units, although I am not opposed to any suggestions for other receivers from someone. The line-up...

I have a 7.1 channel Denon receiver which decodes all the latest "Loss-Less" audio formats. But I only have it set up as a 5.1 channel system. I also have a blu-ray. Am I going to miss out on a lot of the audio that these new formats have to offer because I am not using the full 7.1 channels?

Hey guys, I really appreciate all the great info on this site and so I am hoping someone will take pity on me here. I have owned a pretty basic affordable Sony 5.1 surround sound system but just bought a house that has 7.1 in-wall and in-ceiling surround sound setup already installed but with no speakers...
