I have installed Pioneer DEH-5900IB recently and have connected my iPhone (firmware ver. 1.1.1) to this car stereo through Pioneer CD-I200 (interface cable for iPod). Then the iphone certainly asked me whether I want to switch to the airplane mode, and I said no. The music played immediately, HOWEVER...
