I'm in the process of picking out some gear for my 2000 Honda Civic Coupe. I plan on using some components up front and some 6x9's for rear fill. I'm pretty much sold on the Alpine Type X speakers, but need to do some additional research on their fitment. I've taken the door panel apart...

I really need some help with this. I follow the Crutchfield guide for 6x9s that supposedly fit my car. The problem is that they don't fit. I've tried the Kicker DS6930 and the Kicker KS690. I attempted to have both pair professionally installed. The installers said they would not fit. The problem...

Hello, So today I got the set of used Alpine SPS-600's (80W RMS) that I ordered on eBay. My '94 Civic (DX Coupe) has just 2 Pioneer's (25W RMS) in the back. These Alpine's are for my doors. I only had time to instal the left side speaker today before the rain hit and I had to head inside. Now, my problem...

Hey monza, It looks like mounting depth is not a problem in the rear deck location. Mounting height is your limitation there. Once installed, the Kicker 6x9 speakers will stick up 0.938". Based on our measurements, you will have 0.535" available until you hit the underside of the factory speaker grille...

I really really am interested in getting the kicker 6x9s from here b/c they're so cheap compared to other places. But, the "outfit my car" thing says that it will not fit my 1996 honda civic's rear deck. It also said that about the kicker 6 1/2 " speakers that are currently installed in my car's front...

I installed the Pioneer dehp6900ub in my 1998 civic a few months ago. GREAT unit - delivers much power and sounds great with just my stock speakers. However, I'm ready to upgrade to some after market 6X9s in the back and some 6 1/2s in the kick panels. I don't plan on using an amp. The head unit is rated...
