I am having the same problem with my 04 4Runner with the JBL Synthesis. I installed a Kenwood DNX8120 along with the Scosche interface and my volume goes up and down and it seems as soon as there is some bass in the song the volume drops. Very annoying. Any suggestions?

Definitely possible on the DNX8120. It is likely it works the same way on the KNA-G510. I have an airplane symbol on mine! Well this seems to work....the drive is a blank 180GB Western Digital Drive that now has folders in it numbered 1-250. Each folder has 244 songs, and i fill up about 34 od the 250 folders this way. BUT the system is SLOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW. We're talking 15-20 seconds for the unit to react to a single screen...
