I measured the unit in the car now and it is 7.5"x4" which would seem to suggest it could house a double DIN receiver, but Crutchfield's "outfit my car" application does not list a DD as fitting. Any help here????? Thanks Scott

Well i guess ive never ran into this problem before. But i installed an aftermarket HU into the car today which still had the factory amp in it. Got everything done, except i have no sound out of my speakers. So i even tried unhooking the amp, ect... still nothing. what am i missing or doing wrong here...
