Yes, there definitely should be bass adjustments on the Kenwood. There is also bass boost on the amp. Off for the Alpines and on for the sub ! I would disconnect the cheapo factory tweeters. The Alpines will take care of the highs. You will love that amp.

I can't figure out how to view JPG files. I have them on a thumbdrive with music files. The 6140 will see and play the music files however it only see's the JPG files and then greys them out so I can't select them. I also can't find out how to change the background files.

Bluetooth update 1.70 is working with my Kenwood DNX-8120 and iPhone 3G with iPhone OS 3.0. With the 3.0 iPhone OS update, I'm also able to stream music from my iPhone 3G to my 8120. But the crap part about doing it this way is the screen doesn't show mp3 info. So I still keep my iPhone connected...
