So I upgraded my iPod Touch to iPhone 3.0 operating system and now when I plug it into my head unit all I get is a display 'Reading iPod'. It used to work great. Anybody have any ideas? g

So I installed the kenwood unit and set it up. Hooked up my fully updated ipod video and the screen said Kenwood blah blah blah. The problem is, instead if listing artists and such, it just randomly plays my entire music collection. I've tried my video, a ipod classic 6th which I wiped then synced up...

I saw on the DNX7100 Crutchfield Research page that iPod w/Video is compatible, but wasn't sure if that...

The only thing I can think of would be the software version that the iPod is using. If it is any version lower than 1.1.2 (since you have a 30GB), then you will need to get an update from the iPod Updater on the Apple website. Anyone have other ideas?

I have a Kenwood KDC-X891 HU and a 30 Gig photo iPod (not sure what generation that makes it, but it is about 3 years old). I have the Kenwood iPod adapter ( KC-ip200 ) hooked up between the 2. According to the manual, when the HU recognizes that the device hooked to the USB port is an iPod, the source...
