  • Problems with stereo install in an 89 mustang.

    Well i guess ive never ran into this problem before. But i installed an aftermarket HU into the car today which still had the factory amp in it. Got everything done, except i have no sound out of my speakers. So i even tried unhooking the amp, ect... still nothing. what am i missing or doing wrong here...

If i replace the mach 460 HU in my car with an aftermarket receiver will i still be able to use the factory amplifiers to power my speakers or will i have to run new wires to my speakers?     There is a way to just replace the stock receiver and keep the stock amps working for the stock speakers. We offer an OEM amplifier integration adapter that will do the job. This adapter will work with any receiver (you need not worry about preamp outputs). HTH!

    somebody i know i just sold a radio to.and i need to install it for them..its a 06 mustang.theres a wiring kit on here that says 03 fords and up will that work for a 06 mustang.thats what it pulled up when i selected oufit my car.second question where does the wiring harness go to under the dashboard...
