  • Re: Panasonic Plasma TV's - power supply problem?

We had this identical thing happen to us just this morning!! So incredibly frustrating since we too are just out of our 1yr. warranty by a few months. We watched our TV as usual last night and then went to bed. This morning my husband goes down to turn on the weather channel and is greeted with the dreaded...

  • Re: Panasonic Plasma TV's - power supply problem?

TH-42PZ77U, purchased Dec 2007 -- got the "7 blinking lights (power LED)" problem late Friday night (Apr 25th). Note that it's a few months past its 1-year factory warranty.. After I found all the posts about this problem on the Web , on Sat morning I called the Panasonic "VIERA Concierge" toll-free...

  • Why does Crutchfield hype LCD's more Than Plasma's?

Not trying to cause a stir i am just curious as to why they seem to list more specs than plasmas. As you can probably tell already i am a plasma guy and as of a year ago thats all i would consider buying. Now in the last year Lcds have impressed me quite a bit with things like 120hz so on and so forth...

  • Re: Buying a tv from crutchfield?

A few years ago Crutchfield came to the rescue when I was looking for a specific model of a Canon digital camera - none of the local big box electronics stores had what i wanted in stock. Crutchfield had the model and delivered it in time for Christmas. Last week I attempted to purchase a Panasonic Viera...

  • Re: Some advice on choosing a Flat Screen (LCD, Plasma, Rear Proj.)

Anubis did a pretty good job explaining the benefit to a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. A LCD TV in not all that un-similar to a LCD computer monitor. So it might help to think of the LCD screens in terms of smaller computer screens [if it will make things easier.] Let's also touch on the word "ghosting...

  • possible solution...

I just bought a Panasonic TH-42PZ800U and had the same problem. 10 blinks and the TV would not start. Then after some trial and error I solved the problem! Here is my (apparent) observation and solution: I had only one input into the TV, which was my HTPC connected via a DVI-to-HDMI cable plugged into...

  • 32" Panasonic LCD

I have a 32" Panasonic LCD TV and when I try to turn the set on it flashes two fast red signals, do you have the code breakdown to inicate the problem with the set? I know that there have been some problem with the starter on the Plasmas, but have not read anything about the LCDs

  • This Year's Panasonic 50" or last years 58"?

I am trying to decide between the size of the TH58PZ700U or the new picture quality of the TH50PZ85U . I know it is a trade off of quality or size, but do you think the improvements of the new PZ85U will make it worth going with a smaller set? The larger TH58PZ700U model costs $800 more. Most of what...
