Has anyone ever had consistent "acquiring signal" message on receiver--get same message when hooked up to home unit. Is this a common problem with receiver? According to the research we have on this end, this unit cannot function until the subscription is activated, but if you activate it and then discontinue the service afterwards, the unit should still function normally. Do you mind posting back to tell us how this worked out for you? HTH!
