I checked out Sony's website and the optional bezels are actually compatible with the XBR2 and the XBR4 models and not the XBR5 . I agree completely, the XBR series, 4 or 5, is among the best on the market and other than cosmetics and warranty will offer the same performance. Hope this helps.
