Its been awhile i know, and I realized that when I press on or I guess squeeze the faceplate of the speaker box to the main box itself that the vibration goes away. Before I open up the box and see what is loose. Is there any precautions that I should take? thanks isaac

  • Re: Need help deciding between onkyo receiver/HTiB, first timer

Yeah the receiver for the S9100THX is pretty similar to the 806. I was having a tough time deciding because I wondered if I could get a set of 7.1 speakers for around $400-$500 that would use the power output of the 806? Any recommendations? My only requirement is that they be black to keep everything...

  • family room home theater

I am setting up a small home theater for our family room for six kids. It has a Samsung LCD, and I am considering the Onkyo 706 as the receiver to run components through. These would include: a Nintendo Wii, a PlayStation 3 and an older DVD/VCR player. The question, do you think the Onkyo Tx-SR706 an...

  • Re: KLIPSCH Speakers

I don't have any experience with the Synergy series. I do know that the Synergy series is supposed to not be as good as the Reference series. Other than that, I have no other information on the how the two compare. Does anyone have more information to share?

  • From Coax to Speakers?

I distribute a standard-definition television signal throughout my home on channel 3 via RG6 coaxial cable. I'd like to have a pair of speakers in one of the rooms play the audio from the television signal. I'd like to use a minimal amount of gear in that room to power the speakers. Just a volume knob...

  • Choosing the right speaker for home theater system

Which speakers would work the best with the Sony ES STR-DA5300ES reciever? My den is roughly 40x20 with only two walls, one side is open to the dining room and the other side is open to the kitchen. I like to get the theater experience from my system and I want to make sure I get the right speakers to...

I have connected my computer via hardwired (Cat5e) home network and Linksys Wireless Music Bridge to an Onkyo TX8522 two channel stereo receiver, Sima SSW6 speaker switch with a protection switch.
