  • Alpine tyre r RMS

    Im getting an alpine type r 15 and im not sure which amp yet . I was just wondering is giving it 1000 rms at 1 ohm too much. It says 750rms 2000 peak.And i just dont want to blow it by over powering it.

I know that there is no way you would hook up two of them to a 2000 watt amp unless the 2000 watts was the peak power rating.   • 2 ohm or 4 ohm? and what kind of amp?

    My friend is plannin on getting two ALPINE SWR-1242D, but i dont know if he should get the ALPINE SWR-1222D. Does it matter since he hasn't bought his amp yet? And I also have no idea what amp i would get to power either of the subs. Any help please?
