I've been looking for a good, efficient, moderately priced system. I was leaning towards these Kenwoods . Also I liked these Rockfords . I'm not sure what to do. I'm also not sure what amp to get to power either. Anyone want to help? I'm just interested in a quality system for the price...

I'm looking to install some subs in my bird and I was wondering if there was some kind of output within the monsoon sound system. And if there is how do I get to it? Also is there a way to make the speakers in the back purely mid-range and not mid-base? If so how do I do it? Thanks in advance.

I just bought a 4ohm DVC 250W RMS Infinity 10" sub and a 2-channel Kicker ZX250.5 that outputs at minimum of 4ohms and 250W in bridged mode. Looking at Crutchfield's subwoofer wiring diagrams, it appears that the bridged wiring option results in an 8ohm load on the amp: Would this harm the amp...

You need to do what is known as the Big 3 Upgrade. Larger than stock high quality copper wiring, at least 4 gauge, from battery negative to chassis ground, from engine ground to chassis ground, and from battery positive to alternator positive. Clean any dirt, grease, oil, paint, etc. from grounding points...

A 2 farad cap will work nicely. Use at least 4 gauge wire from battery to cap to amp and also ground. Use an 80 to 100 amp inline fuse as close to the battery as possible. Rock on !

If like me, you prefer not to blister your fingers with a soldering iron, a crimp kit makes quick work of the splicing task. I've used them on several installs with great results. The aftermarket-to-factory harness allows you to do most of the work at the kitchen table rather than practicing contortions...

Hello all, this will probably sound like a silly question but... I want to order the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X993 for my 2002 Dodge Intrepid Police Package. I have the factory stereo installed. Here is my question: What is an "infinity wiring system" and a "mode button"? I don't want to get the wrong wiring...
